ARUP Consult is a web-based tool designed to aid physicians and laboratorians in diagnostics and laboratory test selection and interpretation. Laboratory tests are categorized into relevant disease topics and categories to guide test ordering and interpretation. In addition to comprehensive testing information, expert-authored content is congruent with the latest medical guidelines and literature. Topics are organized into easily accessible tabs for clinical background information, diagnostic advice, screening and monitoring suggestions, and salient references. More than 50 algorithms supplement disease topics and support clinical decision-making. ARUP Consult is free of cost and requires no obligation for use. Access ARUP Consult on the web or on your mobile device; it is also available for download. Authorship: Medical Editor ARUP Laboratories is a national clinical and anatomic pathology reference laboratory and an enterprise of the University of Utah and its Department of Pathology. With more than 2,700 employees, ARUP offers in excess of 2,000 tests and test combinations, ranging from routine screening tests to highly esoteric molecular and genetic assays, for patients throughout the country.
